Only six days left
With the end of the
month fast approaching, I thought I'd send out a reminder. You have
under a week left to polish up your flash fiction entries. Don't forget,
we offer prizes of £300, £200 and £100 for just five hundred words (or
fewer). For more details visit the Flash Fiction page.
This category opened
for entries on May 1st and closes at the end of next month. Please visit
the competition page to find out how you can win £500: Novel Opening and Synopsis Competition.
The judges this year will (once again) be the senior editors at Crooked Cat Publishing, who are the publishers for my own D.I. Paolo Storey series of crime novels written as Frances di Plino: Bad Moon Rising, Someday Never Comes, Call it Pretending and Looking for a Reason
Crooked Cat Publishing cover a wide range of genres, from chick lit to horror, which is why they are the ideal judges for the competition.
And, of course, our
new short story category, judged by Sue Moorcroft, is also open for
entries. However, as the closing date for that is end of February, you
have plenty of time to work on your stories.
Full details of all three competition categories can be found on the Flash 500 Home Page.
Good luck with all your writing endeavours.
Kind regards,
Lorraine
