Friday Fiction Feature: the books of Lizzie Chantree

Thank you for inviting me onto your blog today Lorraine! Hello everyone. My name is Lizzie Chantree. I am the author of nine romance books, five of which are currently published, with the others launching in the near future. I’ve just written my first non-fiction book about networking and how it can help authors reach a wider audience, as I also work as a business and creative mentor.

My romance books are full of sassy entrepreneurs with unusual businesses, who often get into all sorts of trouble and then have to get themselves out again!

All of my currently published books are international bestsellers and when a reader contacts me to say one of my stories has made them smile, then it makes my day, as writing my first book helped me overcome a hard time in my own life. Putting a book out into the world can be really nerve wracking and having positive feedback means so much to a writer.

My book, If you love me, I’m yours, is about a family of eccentric artists. I grew up with a very creative family of entrepreneurs. Although they are not famous, like some of my book characters, they are wonderfully bonkers and very supportive of my writing. Much of this book was written in cafes, where I ate cakes and used the excuse that the beautiful sea view was intrinsic to my story, even though it was set in a little village! I hope you jump into one of my stories about some amazing women and their families and that you close the last page feeling like you have made some new friends.

Stay safe and well everyone. From Lizzie.
